The birthday boy went out for a birthday date with Memaw and Papa on Saturday night to Texas Roadhouse and got to ride the mechanical bull, which he loved! He was so excited about the gift that they gave him.....the long dreamed of drums that he's been wanting since well before Christmas.....he loves them!!! :)
On Sunday, the birthday boy woke up to a room full of balloons.....the best was listening to him through the monitor when he woke up....he asked Kayden if he had done this and Kayden of course took all the credit! Too cute! :)

He was thrilled to get the gift that he said he'd been wishing and hoping for....The Batcave! He and Kayden have been playing with it non-stop since Sunday morning....
Happy boys=Happy mommy and daddy. :)
He was also excited about the baseball pitching machine that Grandma Kathy and Grandpa Bob got for him....he also got a baseball helmet and a bat that he just had to try out right away. :)
Then it was time for birthday cake.....
Riley tried to get in on the cake as well..... :)
Today was the long awaited birthday party at Monkey Joe's (a bounce place that the boys absolutely love!). Here's Carver with Monkey Joe himself....

As you can tell, and I'm sure you won't be surprised to hear, Carver was thrilled to be the center of attention today.....

He even let Kayden sit in the big chair with him for a little while....
He got lots of great presents, which he was happy to show off to Brandon, his buddy from Monkey Joe's. :)
So....our boy is officially 5 years old, and he's loving every minute of it! It is so neat to see how much he's changed over the past 5 years, and how much he's learned and grown....I can't wait to see what the next 5 years will bring! :)
