A Day at the Farm

Uncle Josh had a farm, eieio....and on the farm we went and played, eieio!

Oh, how we have come to love our trips to the farm! We went, we played, we saw the cows, rode in the tractor, rode in the NEW John Deere combine and helped to harvest some corn. The boys were in heaven!!

The really fun part about this trip was that Carver is really starting to understand the whole growing process, and he got to help plant in the spring this year and help harvest in the fall...pretty cool!!

We had so much fun on the farm.....we can't wait to go back!!! Thanks Uncle Josh for taking us on such fun adventures and teaching us all about the farm! :)

Our little fish

Carver never ceases to amaze us. At only 4 1/2 years old he has graduated swim lessons and is ready for his next adventure, which very well may be the swim team! Carver has always been a little fish in the water....he just loves it, but he has really taken off this year and has officially graduated swim lessons at the Y. The past 2 weeks, they have even had him swimming in the big (25 yd.) pool and as you can see from the video below, he is a natural in the water. :)

Halloween Fun

Whew!!! What a fun and exhausting Halloween weekend!! The boys had a blast and got lots of candy!
Here are the boys with their buddies Brody and Cole getting ready to go trick or treating on Saturday night....

They picked these costumes all on their own and there was no changing their minds! Carver loved his Storm Trooper gun and K-Man had the cutest little voice changer.....so funny!

We couldn't let the kids have all the fun.....here's the whole Banker clan getting ready to go trick or treating...Carver asked me before we went where my bucket was....he thought that since I was dressed up I should get some candy too. He was so cute....every time he got a Reese's Peanut Butter Cup (Mommy's favorite :) he came running down the driveway to show me! :)

And just because we are a little bit cruel...we wanted the whole family to get dressed up. :)
