Busy couple of weeks

Wow, it seems like we've been looking forward to summer weather for so long and now that it's here we are taking full advantage! We've been busy, busy, busy!

Daddy and Carver hit another Cubs game last week....

Carver finished his soccer season......

We made a trip to Uncle Josh's farm......

rode in the tractor.....

helped plant the fields......

had some fun on the four wheeler......

and loved seeing Uncle Josh.....

After a very fun and full week, K-Man spent some time relaxing under the swing set with Capper in the backyard.

The boys are keeping us busy and are as active as ever. I swear they don't stop moving from the moment they wake up in the morning.
Kayden is talking so much, putting 4 or 5 words together, it is so cute to hear him speaking in sentences. He is busy chasing after his big brother and trying to keep up. He loves it when I volunteer at Carver's preschool because he gets to play with the kids there and feels like one of the big kids. He's stubborn as ever which makes me crazy sometimes but when that kid knows what he wants he does not take no for an answer! He has been going strong using the potty for about a month now and he's doing great, he has an accident every so often out of the blue but for the most part he is not only using the potty but will just run in and go by himself. :)
Carver is finishing up his first year of preschool next week, and he has done so well! When I picked him up on Thursday his teacher was so excited to tell me what a great wolf he played while they were acting out the 3 Little Pigs. He did so well, they had him do it twice! She said if they were giving out a best actor award he would be the winner...not surprised here he has always been so animated and had such a way of making everyone laugh. He still knows how to charm the pants off of his teachers, other moms, or anyone else that he comes across...while still knowing which buttons to push to drive his mommy crazy at home. I had a pretty good laugh about that one with some relatives this week who were not at all surprised by that, having seen me do the same things growing up. Carver also finished up his first soccer season last week. He had such a great time and learned so much, he is already asking when he can play again. He will start T-Ball in a couple of weeks so he's pretty excited about that as well.

All in all, we're doing great....pool opens this weekend which we're all looking forward to and we've got lots of fun stuff planned for the summer. :) We'll keep you in the loop, til then enjoy the summer and have a great Memorial Day weekend! :)
