There are few words to describe the way I felt as I took this picture. Seeing my boys watch history being made as our 44th president was sworn in today. I was overwhelmed with emotion. I see a bright future for my children. God Bless America.
It gives me chills! We've got a long way to go as a country but I sure feel like we've got the right guy to blaze the trail. I love that you are getting your little men involved. I had my students watch today... I hope they realize what they were witnessing. All my love, Katy
Yeah, we talked to Carver a lot about the election and he even went with Chris to vote. It was cute because he didn't understand why Barack Obama wasn't at our polling place! Anyway, I hope he remembers a little bit of this when he gets older. It was pretty exciting!
