Go Hawks, Go!!

After hearing during every Hawkeye game this season, "Dad, I was really mad that you went to the Hawkeye game without me, I want to go!" Chris bundled Carver up and off they went last weekend to meet Uncle Josh to go to Kinnick Stadium for the Iowa vs. Purdue game. It was about 35 degrees and a little windy so we weren't sure how Carver would do but he seemed to love it. And they were able to stay into the 4th quarter! I think Carver's favorite part was the hot chocolate, pizza, peanuts, and whatever else the guys got ahold of for him, and he really enjoyed watching the big scoreboard screens but hey, he had fun and that's all that matters!

So, now Carver can say he has been to Kinnick Stadium and been to a Hawkeye football game. One more thing to add to his list of adventures!

Daddy and Carver inside of Kinnick, looks like everyone had a great time!

Thanks Daddy for bringing the camera and getting some great pictures of Carver's first trip to Kinnick Stadium.

This weekend Carver gets to make his first official trip to his namesake Carver Hawkeye Arena for a Women's Basketball game. What a life, huh?!?! :)
